About
With this project, our goal is to empower all participants to deepen their awareness of Climate Change and its far-reaching effects on the environment. We strive to inspire them to unite and take collective action against this global challenge, becoming passionate advocates and spokespersons for our shared home—Mother Earth.
Our vision is to cultivate a strong sense of responsibility among participants, motivating them to collaborate towards building a sustainable, green future. We want to send a clear message: we must stand together as one against a common enemy—the Climate Crisis.
The driving force behind our focus on the Climate Crisis and sustainable solutions stems from The European Green Deal (EGD), adopted in 2020. This landmark initiative guides Europe’s commitment to climate neutrality by 2050. Through our project, we aim to reach a broader European audience, informing them about the EGD, its goals, and the European Commission’s strategies and proposals for member countries.
More importantly, we seek to not only raise awareness about the critical importance of this agreement but also to ignite a proactive mindset among participants. We want them to become alert, engaged, and active—working together through grassroots movements, mutual cooperation, and the exchange of best practices to combat the Climate Crisis effectively.
Our approach includes international meetings hosted in each participating country, where we will translate awareness into tangible action. Each meeting will focus on a key subtopic related to sustainable environmental practices:
Zero Waste and Recycling
Sustainable Water
Biodiversity Loss
The project activities will unfold in three phases: before, during, and after each meeting. Throughout this process, we will address two fundamental questions:
- What threats are we facing?
- What can we do to eliminate these threats?
To explore these questions, we will organize ICT workshops, hands-on experiments, outdoor events, and field trips. Experts will be invited to share their knowledge and educate our community, bridging scientific insights with everyday practices.
Ultimately, all these activities aim to integrate the school curriculum with real-life environmental challenges, fostering an educational experience that is dynamic, relevant, and impactful. Through this holistic approach, we hope to empower participants to become active agents of change, driving sustainable actions in their communities and beyond.
